Presentation On Health Was Well Done

August 29, 2012
The Post-Journal

To the Readers' Forum:

I had the great pleasure to attend the Stepping Up to Wellness Cancer Prevention, Diagnosis and Survivorship presentation at WCA.

Dr. Theresa Pagliuca did a wonderful job answering questions, presenting information on ways to stay healthy, the importance of a melanoma screening and stress management techniques. Vendor guests included the Chautauqua County Health Department, the Breast Cancer Support Group, Zonta and their compassionate wig program for women dealing with hair loss, and WCA's own state of the art Digital Mammography Program.

Guests were also encouraged to sign up for a free melanoma screening. Linda Johnson and Toni DeAngelo combined their talents to make this program a great success and one that this member of the community truly appreciated.

Keep up the good work. It is comforting to know that our local hospital is working hard to keep us all healthy. Bravo!
