On Saturday, local author Nancy Kay will celebrate the release of her third mystery suspense novel, "Deadly Encounter," in e-book format through Desert Breeze Publishing.
"Deadly Encounter" is the third and final book in Kay's Deadly Triad series. Her first novel, "Deadly Reflection" was termed "a fast paced adventure not to be missed," by You Gotta Read Reviews. After reading book two, "Deadly Revenge," award-winning author and reviewer John Manhold stated, "If the rest of the books in this series are as enjoyable as this one, romance readers on any level, or of any generation, can look forward to an extended period of enjoyable entertainment."
Nancy Kay is the pen name of North East, Pa., resident Nancy Kay Schneider. As a member of RWA, Romance Writers of America, Nancy currently holds the position of secretary for the Buffalo RWA chapter, WNYRW, Western New York Romance Writers.

The Deadly Triad series, all set in the Great Lakes region including North East, Erie, and the fictional town of Pine Bluffs, provide a perfect backdrop for mystery, suspense, and romance.
Photos to create the striking covers on Nancy's books were taken locally by her husband, Joseph Schneider. The senior cover artist at Desert Breeze Publishing, award-winning cover artist Jenifer Ranieri, enhanced the pictures to compose the covers.
Nancy is doing research for her next novel scheduled for release in late 2013. Watch for details early in 2013 for another story set in the Great Lakes Region.
