Robert L. Wolff, 69, of 33 Linden Ave., died Thursday, August 23, 2012, in his home.
He was born June 20, 1943, in Tidal, Pa., the son of the late Chester and Helen Benn Wolff.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
He had been employed as a construction worker, limousine driver and a taxi driver, most recently for Golden Taxi.
Surviving are seven children: Dawn Akshmit, Carla Honea, Kara Cushman, Rodney J. Wolff, Tiara L. Skelly, Jeffrey L. Wolff and Chester L. Wolff II; 28 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Daniels Wolff, whom he married August 7, 1982, and who died April 6, 2012; a son, Robert Wolff II; and a granddaughter, Daysha Akshmit.
A private family memorial service will be held. Visitation will not be observed.
