Pleas and Sentences

MAYVILLE - David W. Foley, Chautauqua County district attorney, announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court.

Russell A. Maring, 27, of 296 Winsor St., No. 3, Jamestown, was sentenced to 3-6 years in state prison for third-degree burglary.

Mark K. Holland Jr., 32, of Hazzard St., Jamestown, was sentenced to 2 years determinate in state prison with 2 years post-release supervision for third-degree criminal sale of controlled substance.

Michael L. Nesmith, 34, of 29 Carl St., Rochester, was sentenced to 2 years in state prison with 2 years post-release supervision for fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Richard Catanese, 23, of 219 Newland Ave., Jamestown, was sentenced to 1 years in state prison with 1 year post-release supervision for fifth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance.

David S. Kuzinski, 50, of 589 Bradley Road, Russell, Pa., was sentenced to 1-3 years in state prison for third-degree grand larceny.

Michael Pacheco, 43, of 24 W. 14th St., Jamestown, was sentenced to 18 months in jail for third-degree burglary and third-degree assault.

Nathan A. Kohler, 25, of 110 S. Gazelle St., Dunkirk, was sentenced to 9 months in jail for felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation consecutive to 9 months in jail for felony violation of probation. He was also sentenced to 36 months of ignition interlock device and 1 year driver's license revocation.

Keith Muniz, 23, of 13 Mattison St., Fredonia, was sentenced to 4 months weekend work release and 6 months probation for third-degree burglary.

Joseph A. Smith, 26, of 7 Burgess St., Silver Creek, was sentenced to 5 years probation, 60 months ignition interlock device and a $1,500 fine for felony DWI.

Joel R. Tefft, 35, of 73 Union St., Westfield, was sentenced to 3 years probation, a $1,000 fine and 21 months of ignition interlock device for misdemeanor DWI.
