Fire Damages Porch Of Falconer Home

FALCONER - A house fire claimed the front porch of a residence in Falconer on Saturday.

According to fireman Peter Fuller of the Falconer fire department, a call came in at approximately 4:30 p.m. for a fire at 108 Hickory St. in Falconer. Upon arrival, fire departments were able to extinguish the flames quickly, but not before it consumed the majority of the house's front porch. No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Investigation will be ongoing to discover the cause of the fire.
