A man on a bicycle accidentally struck a vehicle traveling south on North Main Street late Friday night and sustained minor injuries as a result.
According to Officer Kraft of the Jamestown Police Department, the driver of the vehicle was traveling south on North Main Street and attempted to make a right-hand turn onto West Ninth Street. As the vehicle turned onto West Ninth Street, the bicyclist, who appeared to be a male in his early thirties, was traveling north on North Main Street, sideswiped the vehicle on the passenger side. The collision caused the side-view mirror of the vehicle to come off, and the bicyclist sustained minor injuries to his arm and leg. The bicyclist was taken via ambulance to WCA hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. Normal flow of traffic resumed on North Main Street by 11:15 p.m.
