Encore Creativity For Older Adults Offers Free Concerts At Chautauqua

CHAUTAUQUA - In the week following Chautauqua Institution's summer season, Encore Creativity for Older Adults presents four free evening concerts open to the public.

Encore Creativity, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing an excellent and accessible artistic environment for older adults, either beginning, intermediate or advanced levels, who seek arts education and performance opportunities under a professional artist.

The first free evening concert will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Elizabeth S. Lenna Hall at Chautauqua Institution. The West Shore Piano Trio will be performing "Four Seasons of Buenos Aires" by Astor Piazzolla, Debussy Trio and Cafe Music of Paul Schoenfeld.

On Tuesday The Young People's Chorus of Erie, conducted by Dr. Jason Bishop, performs in Elizabeth S. Lenna Hall at 7:30 p.m.

A performance by the Encore Institute Theater will take place in Bratton Theater on Friday at 11 a.m. and the last free performance of the series is later that day at 2 p.m. in Elizabeth S. Lenna Hall. The Encore Institute Dance and Choral presents a performance of singers, dancers and actors combined for highlights from "Westside Story."
