Outdoor Club To Ride Thursday

Boating Heritage To Host Seminar
BEMUS POINT - The Lawson Boating Heritage Center on Chautauqua Lake, 73 Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point, will hold Wilson Wright's Chris Craft History Seminar on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $20 for center members and $25 for nonmembers. The museum is open Fridays 5 to 7 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m. Admission to the museum is $5. For more information, call 386-3355.
Seniors To
Meet For Dinner
FALCONER - Falconer Seniors will meet for a pot luck dinner on Monday in Falconer Park. Seniors attending should take a dish to pass or a donation of $3. Thirty-five members attended a recent chicken dinner and meeting. Discussion was on a trip to the casino and a ride on the Summer Wind. Incentive winners were Carm Muscarella, Christine Brant, Jennie Cosenza, Ruth and Paul McCabe.
Music In The Park Continues
SOUTH DAYTON - Music in the Park will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the South Dayton village park gazebo. Featured will be The Gold Tones. The summer music program is sponsored by the towns of Dayton and Villenova, the village of South Dayton and the New York State Council of the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program, administered by the Cattaraugus Arts Council. Persons attending should take a lawn chair.
Outdoor Club To Ride Along Lake
On Aug. 31, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes halfway around Chautauqua Lake. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. for breakfast at the Chatterbox Restaurant on Route 430 in Greenhurst. They will then ride around the west end of the lake: first to Bemus Point then Mayville then Chautauqua. They will then ride to Stow, where they will catch the Stow Ferry, which will take them across the lake to Bemus Point where they will continue riding back to Greenhurst. CLA To Sponsor Boat Parade
CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Lakes Association will sponsor three events on Sunday, Sept. 2. At 3:30 p.m., a boat parade will leave from the DEC boat launch on Dale Drive. All participants are invited to decorate their boats or simply be at the boat launch at 3:15 p.m. to participate. The Dunkirk Middle School Steel Marauder Band will entertain at the Cassadaga beach from 4 to 5 p.m. The associations's annual Ducky Derby fundraiser follows at 5:30 p.m. at the bridge on Maple Avenue and Mill Street.
