UNION CITY - Brian Eckwahl's plus 7 led Flight A as the McDonald's Senior Golf Tour paid a visit to the Union City Country Club on Monday.
Using the modified Stableford scoring system, Denny Ayers was second with plus 6 and Dave Allen and Roger Millspaw tied for third with plus 5s. Ayers also shot a 73 for the low gross.
In Flight B, Andy Scalise posted a plus 8 and led the low gross scores with an 81. Jim Wise was second with plus 6 and Ken Aldrich took third with plus 5.
Larry Spencer and Ray Centi each shot plus 8 to top Flight C while Larry Pickard was next with plus 7 and also had the low gross with an 86.
Tony LoGuidice, Scott Vogan and Charlie Stafford tied for the top spot in Flight D with plus 4s and LoGuidice shot a 93 for the low gross.
Sam Pellerito led Flight E with plus 10, Wayne Lind was second with plus 6 and Roger Brightman took third with plus 3. Pellerito also had the low gross with 92.
In Flight F, Mort Armstrong led the way with plus 7, Harold Eckwahl and Tom Harte were next with plus 4s and Red Johnson had the low gross with 102.
In closest-to-the-pin action, Bill Radack earned the honor on No. 4, Dave Chall on No. 8, Lynn Butcher on No. 12 and Brian Brown on No. 14.
The Senior Tour plays at Riverside Golf Course on Monday with a starting time of 9 a.m.
