Bluegrass Music Tonight In Celoron

CELORON - There will be free bluegrass music at the Celoron American Legion from 7 to 10 p.m. today. Bluegrass musicians are welcome to take a turn on stage. Backwoods Bluegrass will be the host.

Art Show Set For Saturday

FALCONER - An art show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in Davis Park, Falconer, on Main Street across from the village Community Building and Falconer Library. Displays of nature photography, stone and crystal wire wrapped jewelry, oil, acrylic, watercolor and pencil drawings, other jewelry media, calligraphy, paintings, needlework and other photography works will be part of the show. Face painting will also be available. There will also be hot dogs, popcorn and drinks available from the Falconer Kiwanis Club. The first art exhibit show is sponsored by Falconer Eye to the Future Committee. No rain date has been scheduled.

Combined Service Set For Sept. 19

Martin Road Christian Fellowship Church will participate with the Fluvanna Community Church and The Healing Hands Church in a combined worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19 in Allen Park. Music will be provided by the Community Praise Choir. A covered-dish lunch will follow the service.

Breakfast Set For This Weekend

ELLERY CENTER - The Ellery Center Volunteer Fire Dept., 4400 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point, is having an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $6.50 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $5.50 for children ages 12 and under. A chicken barbecue with chicken, macaroni and potato salad, baked beans, dinner roll and butter will be held Saturday from 4 p.m. until sold out. Cost for the dinner is $8 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens and $7.50 for children. Dinners can be ordered ahead by calling 386-5381 Dinner orders will be taken starting at 11 a.m.

Outdoor Club To Ride Saturday

On Saturday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes on the Sandy Creek Trail near the village of Van in Venango County, Pennsylvania. The group will have a 24-mile roundtrip ride on an asphalt trail. Participants will meet at the eastern trailhead at 12:30 p.m. To get to the trailhead, travel southeast on Rote 322 to Van before turning west onto Tarklin Hill Road and driving a half mile to the parking area.
