Which is more powerful: stating one's beliefs or acting on them? If one believes that it is the latter, then the fact of Dan Cathy's Biblical marriage is more offensive than his words about it. How long, then, before every Biblical marriage is itself deemed a "hate crime," with marriage ceremonies invaded by "kiss-ins" and protests?
Won't happen, you say? How long ago was it that gay 'marriage' "couldn't happen"?
