Rodeo Seniors To Meet Friday
GERRY - The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday for a luncheon and program, beginning promptly at noon. The group will meet at the Gerry United Methodist Church. Those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to pass and their own table service. The program will have guest speaker Loren Kent on his trip to Rome and Venice. New members are welcome.
Common Council To Meet Wednesday
SALAMANCA - The Salamanca Common Council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the new court room at the municipal building. A work session will precede the meeting for the purpose of reviewing agenda items and signing bills. The public is welcome to attend.
Food Express Truck In Ashville Tuesday
ASHVILLE - The Western New York Food Express Truck will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. Proof of ZIP code address is required for the free food, mostly fresh produce. Anyone attending should bring their own bags. Falconer Athletes' Meeting Is Aug. 13
FALCONER - Falconer Central School will hold its annual mandatory athletic meeting at 7:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, in the high school auditorium. Due to construction at the high school, use the auditorium entrance on Main Street at the bus loop. Topics to be discussed are rules and regulations, sportsmanship, athletic code, hydration, concussion management and other sports-related injuries. St. Timothy Camp Begins Aug. 13
BEMUS POINT - St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Route 430, Bemus Point, will hold the annual Jesus Loves Me Bible Camp from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 13, through Friday, Aug. 17. The free camp is for children between the ages of 5 and 7. There will be music, stories, crafts and games revolving around Bible stories. A snack will be provided every day. On Aug. 17, there will be a craft show and program where the children will show off some of the projects they created as well as a skit and a few songs they learned during the week.
