MAYVILLE - Two Mayville men and a Lakewood man all face charges following a pair of arguments in Mayville early Saturday morning.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies and the Chautauqua Police Department responded to a call of a reported fight on Water Street. Upon arrival, deputies learned that Rey Vega, 28, of Lakewood got into an argument with another individual and punched that person in the face.
During the investigation, a second fight started at the Lakeview Hotel. As a result of the second altercation, Thomas Gustafson, 50, of Mayville and Darrin Textor, 33, of Mayville were also charged.
Vega was charged with second-degree harassment and released, and Gustafson was charged with disorderly conduct and released. Textor was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and criminal tampering, arraigned in Town of Chautauqua Court, and taken to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
All three will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
