FALCONER - For those who feel they need a wellness evaluation, there is a new business in Falconer which may be able to assist.
Better-Life Nutrition, 2 Main St., Falconer, in the Budget Inn plaza, is the new business owned by Stephanie A. Clark. The wellness coach opened Better-Life Nutrition in January as a first-time business owner who was looking for a way to help people live better lives.
''I felt it was time to do something right where I can help people with nutritional problems,'' she said. ''I enjoy seeing smiles on people's faces when they have a smoothie and know they are improving.''

The new business owner said it was slow at first, but once people started visiting they haven't stopped.
''It has gone way better than I expected,'' she said. ''All of the sudden the door started opening and it hasn't closed since.''
The business offers customers meal-replacement smoothies, nutritional bars, electrolyte-replacement drinks, energy tea to boost metabolism, free wellness evaluations and several weight-loss challenge programs.
Better-Life Nutrition also has fitness classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
''We have an instructor come in and work on plyometric exercises,'' she said. ''We have 24 shakes designed for athletes to help build lean muscle.''
The business also offers classes for older customers called ''Youngtimers'' where people do chair exercises and learn nutritional information. The classes are held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and at 6 p.m. Thursday.
''We're here to promote all-around good nutrition,'' she said. ''We figure out what is wrong and we fix it. I'm thrilled with the results.''
Clark said people can fit programs into their diet and budgets. Also, the programs are safe for children.
The business is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 450-9107.
