North Harmony Senior citizens will meet for a chicken barbecue, prepared by the Mayville VFW men's auxiliary, on Aug. 20. Seniors attending should take a dish to pass and their table service. Reservations are required; call 782-2431 or 789-3617. The committee is Linc and Jo Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Gleason, Charlie and Dorothy Krause, Ruth Franklin and Everett and Eleanor King, who will also provide the birthday cake.
Fifty-seven members met for a potluck dinner, hosted by Steve and Loretta Saulsgiver, Bill and Carol Adamson and Phyllis Huling. A birthday cake was provided for Franklin Hanson and Carol Adamson. Celebrating anniversaries were Steve and Loretta Saulsgiver, Rita and Lev Lescynski.
Gordy Saulsgiver led the blessing and Steve Saulsgiver, president, led the flag salute. Reports presented by Joyce Warner, secretary, and Anita Ferry, treasurer, were accepted as read. Committee chairmen also gave their reports. Discussion was on the Stow Day activities.
Gordy Saulsgiver closed the meeting with prayer.
