Lauren ''Rose'' Rudd and Dr. John ''Shane'' Herrick Sanborn III exchanged wedding vows on June 2, 2011, at the Golden Eagle Country Club. Robert A. Shelley performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Jody and Nancy Coogle.
The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Laura (Ricotta) Rudd of Tallahassee, Fla., the granddaughter of Joe and Jane Ricotta, Bette Rudd and the late Sam Rudd and the great-granddaughter of Rose and Tom Ricotta and Gertrude Gleason. Her husband is the son of Esther and John Sanborn Jr. of Milton, Fla., and the grandson of Anne Sanborn.
The bride wore an Alfred Angelo Disney princess gown.

Matron of honor was Jennifer (Rudd) Hall, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie (Traniello) Parisi, cousin of the bride, Ashleigh Powell, sister of the groom, and Sarah Benson. Flower girl was Drew Powell, niece of the groom.
Best man was John Sanborn Jr., father of the groom. Ushers were Glenn Rudd Jr., brother of the bride, Scott Sanborn, cousin of the groom, Jeremy Sorenson and Daniel Wass de Czege, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a cum laude graduate of the University of Southern Florida with a degree in health sciences and public health. She is employed at a hospital in Tallahassee. Her husband is a graduate of Florida State University and earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern Florida.
They are living in Tallahassee, Fla.
