A city man is behind bars following a domestic disturbance Thursday afternoon.

At 5:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to 631 Newland Ave. in Jamestown for a reported domestic incident. According to the Jamestown Police Department, Sean D. Klein, 24, of Jamestown, reportedly held a knife to a female victim's throat while restraining her. Klein then proceeded to another room and held the knife to another female's throat while restraining her. He demanded the victim throw her phone to prevent her from calling the police while she was holding a 3-year-old child. Klein left the scene before officers arrived.

He was later apprehended by Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputy outside of the city where he was detained and turned over to the Jamestown Police Department. He is currently being held in the Jamestown City Jail where he awaits arraignment. Klein was charged with two counts of first-degree unlawful imprisonment, a felony offense, two counts of second-degree menacing, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.
