Picnic Stamp Being Offered
ELLINGTON - The U.S. Postal Service will offer a special cancellation celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Ellington Picnic beginning Friday. The cancellation will be available at the post office from 8 a.m. to noon and 1:15 to 5 p.m. Friday, at the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday and at the hospitality tent from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Yard Sale Set For Saturday

Road Scheduled For Repairs
ELLINGTON - The 28th Creek Road in Ellington, between Gerry-Ellington Road and Wolcott Road, will be closed for repairs starting on Monday and stay closed until signs are removed.
Sewer District Board To Meet
CELORON - The South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts Administrative Board will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Water Pollution Control Facility, Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.
Foster Parent Meeting Set
The Chautauqua County Social Services Department will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Social Services office, 110 E. Fourth St., Jamestown, for those interested in becoming a foster parent. Foster parents are needed for children of all ages, and foster parents willing to accept sibling groups are also needed. Concert Series Continues
CELORON - The Village of Celoron summer concert series will feature ''Jackson Rohm" on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lucille Ball Memorial Park. In case of rain the concert will be in Community Center.
