JCC Teaching Assistant Receives Recognition

Kahl Counts of Ashville has been selected as an outstanding teaching assistant at Jamestown Community College's Jamestown Campus by the American Association of Physics Teachers.

Counts, who was presented with a certificate by JCC physics professor Marie Plumb, also earned the JCC Outstanding Physics Student Award for two consecutive years. He graduated in May with an associate degree in engineering science with high honors.

AAPT, which promotes physics education, awards gift memberships to outstanding teaching assistants.
