Library To Host Music In The Park

BROCTON - The Ahira Hall Memorial Library will host a concert in the park featuring Wind River at 7 p.m. Thursday in Ryckman Park. Free ice cream will be provided by the Friends of the Ahira Hall Memorial Library. There will also be an opportunity for patrons to purchase basket giveaway tickets and cold drinks.

JCC Class Of '52 Reunion Cancelled

The Jamestown Community College Class of 1952 reunion scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled. For more information, call the JCC's alumni relations office at 338-1056.

Ellery To Host Car Show Sunday

ELLERY CENTER - VFW Post 557, 4498 Dutch Hollow Road, will host a car show from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the post. A chicken barbecue will be at 1 p.m. The doors will open at noon. No judging will be held. All are welcome to attend.

Randolph ZBA To Meet

RANDOLPH - The Randolph Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Randolph Municipal Building to hear a request for a special use permit to construct accessory apartments at 1 Bank St., Randolph, and to consider an amendment to the zoning code relating to notification by mail.

Maple Grove To Hold Reunion

BEMUS POINT - The Maple Grove Class of 1982 will hold its 30-year class reunion at Shaggy's (See-Zurh House) in Bemus Point from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday. All other Maple Grove alumni are welcome to join after 8 p.m. For more information, call Kerry Santilli at 386-6194.

Outdoor Club To Hold Picnic

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hold a picnic at Chapman State Park, where members can kayak or canoe on Chapman Lake or hike the park trails. Participants should bring their own entree and a dish to pass and meet at the Chapman Lake Boat Launch at 2 p.m. For more information call Linda Ross at 814-688-5908.

Cash Mob Today At Craftworld

Craftworld and Action Hobbies, located at 509 W. Third St., Jamestown, will be the next location for a downtown cash mob organized by the Downtown Jamestown Development Corp. Anyone interested in participating should meet at Craft World & Action Hobbies at 5 p.m. today. Craft World serves as a full-line hobby and art-and-craft supplier. Craft World & Action Hobbies sells engines, radios, metal detectors, games, science equipment, rockets, plastic models, trains, remote control airplanes, helicopters, boats and vehicles, arts and crafts, and telescopes.

Kennedy To Host Music In The Park

KENNEDY - Kennedy Pride to host Jammin' in the park Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hallquist Park on Route 394 in Kennedy. The group "Common Ground" will preform. Members of the group are Donna Dort, Burke Lindquist, Laurel Hoch David Rublee and Cindy Woodin. Hot dogs, pop, water and baked goods will be for sale.
