A motor-vehicle accident early Sunday morning resulted in damage to a Jamestown bar.
Jamestown police and fire personnel were called to Sneakers, located at the intersection of Harrison and Institute streets, at about 1:40 a.m.
Police on the scene said a vehicle was rear-ended while making a right turn onto Institute. The vehicle traveled onto the sidewalk and collided with the side of the building, leaving a sizeable hole below the windows on that side. A fire hydrant was also sheared off by the impact. No injuries were reported.
