Stacy Lynn (Robbins) Rublee, a former Jamestown resident, has been named the Teacher of the Year for the 2011-12 school year at Cumberland Middle School in Cumberland, Va.
Mrs. Rublee is a middle school English teacher whose top priority is to adjust her teaching style to fit the needs of the students, since what works for one may not work for all.
Mrs. Rublee is a 1998 graduate of Jamestown High School and a graduate of the State University at Fredonia. She is the daughter of Katrina Robbins of Jamestown. She is the wife of Shanin Rublee, and they have two children, Shaylynn and Tristin. The Rublees live in Cumberland, Va. She is also the daughter-in-law to Jeanine Rublee of Tennessee and Don Foster of Pennsylvania, formerly of Jamestown.
