Ashley May Saxton, 26, passed into the loving arms of the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Buffalo Children's Hospital, sur-rounded by her family and lifelong friend.
Born June 18, 1986, in Jamestown, N.Y., Ashley was the daughter of Nancy Smith and Todd Saxton.
Ashley attended James-town High School and gra-duated in 2003. She also at-tended Jamestown Business College and Jamestown Community College, and was employed at Connec-tions in Jamestown.

She was an accomplished violist, and for many years danced with the DeMarco School of Dance. She was truly a social butterfly. Her lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis served to develop her courage and strength to do the things she wanted to do. Ashley was a fighter with a passion for life.
Ashley is survived by her parents of Jamestown, N.Y.; maternal grandmother, Lor-raine Brown, Falconer, N.Y.; sister, Tinesha Smith and brother, Shane Saxton, both of Jamestown, N.Y. She is also survived by nephew, Derrick; niece, Alexandria; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Ashley was also survived by her childhood friend and sister of her heart, Andrea Hatfield; and her little dog, Zoe.
Ashley will be remem-bered as a strong, coura-geous and loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Ellen J. Sax-ton; and her maternal grandfather, William H. Brown.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 23, in the Lind Funeral Home fol-lowed by a service at 7 p.m. The Rev. Dan Rumfelt will officiate.
