July 15, 2012
The Post-Journal

Two more drug dealers are off the streets of Jamestown.

Angel Soto, 39, and Mark J. McKay, 20, both of 705 Lafayette St., Jamestown, were both charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after a two-month investigation into the sale of heroin out of their residence.

At 4:45 p.m. Friday, members of the Jamestown Police Department and New York State Police K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at the location. An investigation by the JPD and the New York State Police's Community Narcotics Enforcement Team revealed that both subjects were making heroin sales to numerous customers at all times of the day and night. Investigators also seized a quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia during the search.

The Jamestown Department of Development condemned the residence after the search due to code violations in the home.

Both subjects were taken to Jamestown City Jail where they were arraigned and then committed to Chautauqua County Jail.

The investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.

Anyone with more information into the illegal sale of narcotics is asked to call the Jamestown Police Department's anonymous tip line at 483-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
