JAMESTOWN POLICE

Carl E. Rhone, 42, of Jamestown was taken into custody on an outstanding probation warrant at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday. He is currently being held at Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

Bethany L. Pritchard, 36, of Jamestown was taken into custody on an outstanding bench warrant at 8 p.m. Wednesday. She is currently being held at Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

Joslin M. Bane, 27, was charged with false personation, speed in zone, failure to keep right and unlicensed operator at 12:43 a.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle did not have any photo identification on her and gave officers a false name and date of birth. Officers were familiar with the driver and identified her as Bane. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.

Brandon M. Horn, 24, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, officers responded to a report that Horn was attempting to break into an apartment. Upon arrival, police located Horn standing in the hallway of the residence at 36 Fairfield Ave. He was highly intoxicated and taken into custody after he reportedly grabbed the upstairs tenant and attempted to push her to the ground while she was holding a 3-year-old child. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

LAKEWOOD - Michael A. Chaplain, 25, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree unlawful possession of marijuana at 11:20 a.m. Thursday. According to a police report, officers were called to 23 Gifford Ave. in Lakewood for a report of loud music. Upon arrival, officers interviewed Chaplain and found him to be in possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody and will be in court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Thomas J. Kovach, 53, of Parma, Ohio, was charged with DWI and failure to keep right at 12:47 a.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, officers were called to a motorcycle accident on West Oak Hill Road near Strunk Road. Officers arrived to find Kovach on his motorcycle in a ditch, attempting to get out. He was transported to WCA for minor injuries. An investigation led to the above charges. He was issued an appearance ticket and will be in court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

STEAMBURG - Laci J. Lawson, 26, was charged with attempted petit larceny at 5 p.m. on June 14. According to a police report, officers responded to the Turtle Pit in Steamburg for a female that was shoplifting. Management had confronted the suspect for concealing a carton of cigarettes in her bag. When patrol arrived the suspect had left the scene, but returned a short time later and was interviewed by deputies. After a short investigation, Lawson was taken into custody. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge and will be in court at a later date.
