St. Luke's Episcopal Church proudly presents the Winged OX Players' production of a Neil Simon play, "God's Favorite."
Open auditions for this play will be held on Wednesday, July 18, and Thursday, July 19, from 6-8 p.m. each night.
The auditions will take place in undercroft at St. Luke's Episcopal Church on East Fourth Street in Jamestown.
"God's Favorite" is a play about a successful Long Island businessman, Joe Benjamin: a modern-day 'Job' with a demanding wife, ungrateful children and wise-cracking household employees. Just when it seems things couldn't get any worse, he is visited by Sidney Lipton, a messenger from God and compulsive film buff with a mission: test Joe's faith and report back to "the Boss." The jokes and tests of faith fly fast and furious.
Male and female actors in their 20s-50s are needed for the production. St. Luke's is also looking for help backstage, and with set design and props. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
