---Class of 1972 To Hold Reunion
FALCONER - The Falconer Class of 1972 will hold its 40th reunion on Saturday, July 21. A tour of Falconer High School will take place at 1 p.m. The evening dinner will be at the Vikings on the Lake with appetizers and a cash bar opening at 6 p.m. followed by class members cooking their own strip steaks at 7 p.m. Reunion flyers were mailed recently. Thrift Shop To Use New Hours
St. Luke's Thrift Shop at 409 Pine Street is starting new summer hours this week. The shop will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and closed on Saturdays. This will continue through August. All departments are fully stocked, including new ladies and household items. St. Luke's Thrift Shop is a non-profit business, with proceeds going to local outreach and is staffed by volunteer workers. Offstreet parking is available in the church parking lot just off of Fifth Street.
Outdoor Club To Ride Thursday
On Thursday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes in the Warren/Rimrock area. Participants will meet at the southern terminus of the Warren Bike Path at 5:30 p.m. From there, bikes will be transported to Rimrock. The ride will begin at Rimrock on Route 59, continue to Dairy Delite for ice cream and then return to Warren. Participants will meet at the northern end of the park in the bike path trailhead parking lot at 2 p.m. The five-mile hike, which is part of the Gerard Hiking System, will be a loop that includes a visit to the Boughton Historical Site. Cherry Creek To Hold Meeting
CHERRY CREEK - Cherry Creek residents are invited to attend and participate in an open discussion with the Cherry Creek Village Board and the Chautauqua County Sheriff concerning current issues. The meeting will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the town hall.
St. Elia To Hold Saturday Event
St. Elia Orthodox Church, 103 Palmer St., Jamestown, will celebrate the day of its patron saint, the Prophet Elijah, at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. George Zervos will conduct the Liturgy and a light lunch honoring the anniversary of his ordination will follow in the church hall. Historical Group To Hold Fundraiser
SINCLAIRVILLE - The Valley Historical Society will sell hot dogs and cold drinks in Minckler Common in Sinclairville starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, until sold out. All proceeds will help pay expenses for the 2012 Sinclairville History Fair on Sept. 8.
