Alison Christine Vollmer and Erik Christopher Ridgway exchanged wedding vows on May 5, 2012, at the historic Jacob Bond House in Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Nathan Eckert performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Debbie Vollmer of Bloomington, Ind., and the granddaughter of Rose Vollmer of Vincennes, Ind. Her husband is the son of Craig and Kathy Ridgway of Jamestown, N.Y., and the grandson of Borge Rasmussen of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Viola Rasmussen and the late Hartley Ridgway and Jayne Ridgway.
Jennifer Vollmer was maid of honor.

The bride is a graduate of Indiana University and the Medical University of South Carolina as a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery. Her fiance is a graduate of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and is pursuing a degree as a physician assistant at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Myers, Fla.
They honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
They are living in Fort Myers, Fla.
