Church To Host Dinner And Movie
CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Community Baptist Church, 25 Maple Ave., Cassadaga, will hold a free dinner and movie Friday in the church fellowship hall. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the movie will follow at 7 p.m. The dinner and movie are and open to the public.
Bluegrass Music Tonight In Celoron
CELORON - There will be free bluegrass music at the Celoron American Legion tonight from 7 to 10 p.m. Bluegrass musicians are welcome to take a turn on stage. Backwoods Bluegrass will be the host.
Potluck Dinner Set For Sunday
The Victory Tabernacle Church, 501 W. Third St., Jamestown, will hold a potluck dinner at 5 p.m. Sunday. Participants should take a dish to pass. There is no charge and all are welcome to attend. A musical program will be presented at 6 p.m.
Concert Series Begins Sunday
SALAMANCA - The Seneca Salamanca Chamber of Commerce will begin its Summer Concert Series at 6 p.m. Sunday, with The Good Old Boys at Jefferson Street Park in Salamanca. Future shows include: July 8 - Kuk & Freddie; July 15 - Razz & Friends; July 22 - The Dustmen; and July 29 - Oliverio. Concerts are free to the public and are subject to be cancelled due to weather.
Randolph Zoning To Meet Monday
RANDOLPH - The Town of Randolph Zoning Board of Appeals will meet in the Randolph municipal building on Monday at 7 p.m. to hear a request from Paul T. S. Lee to operate a medical office in his home.
South Valley Board To Meet
SOUTH VALLEY - The South Valley Town Board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9. The town's meeting night has been changed to the second Wednesday of each month. The public is welcome to attend.
Anniversary Party Set For Saturday
A 50th anniversary open house for Gust and Margaret Swanson will be held Saturday in the Busti Fire Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. The celebration is being put on by Barry and Jeff Swanson and their families.
Summer Worship Schedule Released
Lakewood United Methodist Church, 164 Shadyside Ave., and Ashville United Methodist Church, 2180 N. Maple St., have announced their summer worship schedule. Each Sunday in July the worship service will be at Lakewood at 10 a.m. Each Sunday in August the worship service will be in Ashville at 10 a.m. The first Sunday in September will be back to normal worship schedule of 9:30 a.m. at Ashville and 11 a.m. at Lakewood. Sunday School begins on Sept. 9.
