Christopher C. Carter, 19, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 10:27 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, officers responded to Eagle Street in Jamestown for a domestic dispute. During the dispute, Carter damaged a female victim's property. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail pending his arraignment.
LAKEWOOD - Joshua A. Whitacre, 19, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny Friday. According to a police report, a warrant was served on Whitacre following an incident at Wal-Mart where he stole merchandise from the store. He is due in court at a later date.
BUSTI?- Thomas J. Mann, 20, of Jamestown, Megan M. Truver, 18, of Jamestown, a 16-year-old male and a 14-year-old male were all charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 11:40 p.m. Friday. According to a police report, an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. The vehicle was being driven by a 14-year-old who admitted that he had just stolen the vehicle from a business in Celoron. All of the occupants were placed in custody and transported back to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department. The 16-year-old male and the other two subjects were issued appearance ticket. The 14-year-old driver will be petitioned to Family Court at a later date.
BUSTI - Sarah J. Deering, 20, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing at 11 a.m. Monday. According to a police report, she entered a trailer/dwelling and remained inside without permission to be there on June 17. She will be in court at a later date to answer the charges.
BUSTI - Ryan S. Wiltsie, 36, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right and unsafe lane change at 9:56 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle automobile accident on Cowing Road in the town of Busti. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the operator of the vehicle, who was identified as Wiltsie. Further investigation allegedly showed that he was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released with uniform traffic tickets to appear in court at a later date.
BUSTI - Jamie A. Black, 27, of Ashville was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, refusing pre-screening, unlawful possession of marijuana and trespassing at 12:51 a.m. Sunday. According to a police report, officers checked a suspicious vehicle parked at Busti Town Park and observed a single occupant in the vehicle in the driver's seat. The operator was identified as Black and an investigation allegedly showed him to be intoxicated and in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets to be in court at a later date.
BUSTI?- A 14-year-old subject was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny Saturday after he entered a business in Celoron and took a set of car keys and a vehicle. The subject was stopped by the Lakewood-Busti Police in the Village of Busti. He will be petitioned in Family Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - David W. Schaper, 22, of West Seneca was charged with insufficient tail lights, DWI and DWI per se .08 percent BAC or higher at 11:33 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies observed a vehicle with only one working tail light and proceeded to stop the vehicle. Upon investigation, Schaper was found to be the operator of the vehicle and was intoxicated. He will appear in court at a later date.
MAYVILLE - Two 17-year-old subjects and a 16-year-old subject were charged with burglary at 8 a.m. Sunday following an investigation into an incident at a residence in Mayville. A homeowner arrived at his residence and found unknown individuals sleeping in his house. Deputies were able to clear the house and remove the individuals who had no legal right to be there. All three subjects were arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
ELLERY - Michael P. Near II, 18, of Sinclairville and Mark V. Banse-Fay, 19, of Sinclairville were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 at 12:01 a.m. Saturday. Additionally, Near was charged with speed in zone and Banse-Fay was charged with open container of alcohol in vehicle. They were issued tickets for the charges and will be in court at a later date.
HANOVER - Marquise Mouhire, 20, of North Tonawanda was charged with open container of alcoholic beverage while under 21 years of age and Tyler Kissel, 20, of North Tonawanda was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:56 p.m. Saturday. Both subjects were issued appearance tickets for their charges and will be in court at a later date.
