To the Readers' Forum:
Congratulations to whomever has recently converted vacant city lots into community gardens in Jamestown. I've noticed two separate locations. One at the end of Lakeview Avenue and the other at the corner of Washington and 8th streets.
This is exemplary and should be implemented in our inner cities. Instead of converting a vacant lot into a basketball court we could be teaching our youth about eating healthier and learning self-sufficiency.
