Stephen and Kaye Young of Jamestown, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Christine, to Christopher Paul Carrier, the son of Neil and Cathleen Carrier of Lyndhurst, Ohio.
Miss Young is a 2004 graduate of Maple Grove High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts from Allegheny College in 2008 and her M.Ed. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. She is employed by the global education office at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Brush High School, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Allegheny College in 2006. He is employed by Saint Christopher's School in Richmond, Va., as a middle school Spanish teacher and coach.
A summer 2013 wedding is planned.
