LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
LAKEWOOD - Rafael Morales was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 4:30 p.m. on June 15. According to a police report, it is alleged that Morales was found to be in possession of property that had been stolen from Wal-Mart in Lakewood. He was arraigned, committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and will be back in court at a later date.
WESTFIELD POLICE
WESTFIELD - David J. Green, 21, of Westfield and Christine M. Botham, 22, of Westfield were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, officers observed a suspicious vehicle leaveing the Westfield Cemetery. Officers were able to catch up to the vehicle and perform a traffic stop. Green was identified as the operator and the other occupant of the vehicle was identified as Botham. Both subjects were allegedly found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. They were issued appearance tickets and will be in court at a later date.
CARROLL POLICE
FREWSBURG - Tammera S. Elder, 49, of Frewsburg was charged with theft of services at 2:20 a.m. Saturday. According to a police report, Elder had taken a Taxi cab ride from a Jamestown tavern to Frewsburg but then refused to pay the fare. An argument ensued with the Taxi cab driver who flagged down the Town of Carroll police car. Elder was taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500 bail to return at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - Cynthia Ballagh, 61, of Irving was charged with felony DWI, aggravated DWI per se with a BAC of .18 percent or higher and a traffic light violation at 11:23 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, the CCSO received a complaint of a vehicle traveling at a very slow rate of speed on Route 5 & 20. Shortly after, deputies observed a vehicle matching the description sitting stationary at a green light. The vehicle was stopped and Ballagh was found to be the driver. Further investigation revealed her to be intoxicated. She will be in court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA - Jennifer L. Blake, 23 of Mayville was charged with third-degree assault at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, it is alleged that Blake attacked another person which resulted in that person being injured. She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in court at a later date.
HANOVER - Brendan Tobolski, 20, of West Seneca was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday. He was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets to answer the charges in court at a later date.
