LITTLE VALLEY - Lori P. Rieman, Cattaraugus County district attorney, reports the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Wednesday:

Wayne Irvin, 35, of Olean, but presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, was found guilty after a two-day jury trial of all the counts contained in the indictment.

The jury returned guilty verdicts for first-degree rape, first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. The incident occurred on or about Aug. 15, 2011, in the City of Olean, when he engaged in sexual intercourse, oral sexual conduct, sexual contact with another person less than 11 years old and knowingly acted in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child less than seventeen years old. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 4.
