Set For Friday
Community Blood Bank will hold a blood drive from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Busti Church of God. All donors will be entered into a drawing for a pair of Kenney Chesney/Tim McGraw concert tickets. No appointment is necessary. To schedule a blood drive, call Kathy Hastings at 450-0376.
Rogers To Host Open House
Rogers Elementary School is having an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday for any alumni, or the general public, to have the opportunity to take a tour of the building, look at scrapbooks and videos, and have refreshments before the school closes. Bible Study To Begin Tuesday
"Believing God," an 11-week Beth Moore women's Bible study, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, starting June 19, at Levant Wesleyan Church, room 107. The study is a DVD led with discussion. Strawberry Social Set For Saturday
BEMUS POINT - St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Route 430, Bemus Point, will host a strawberry social from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Featured will be fresh local strawberries, biscuits and ice cream and live entertainment in the courtyard, weather permitting. The cost is a suggested donation of $4 for adults and $2 for children under age 12. The youth mission group will also be collecting refundable cans, plastic and glass bottles to raise funds for their trip to New Orleans.
Change In Sunday Church Services
LEON - Thomas Maynard, Celebration Fellowship Church pastor, announced a change in Sunday evening service hours. The new time will be at 6 p.m. All are invited to attend.
Moose Lodge To Host Island Party
Jamestown Moose Lodge 1681, 405 E. Fifth St., Jamestown, will host an island party with food, giveaways and games starting at 4 p.m. Saturday. STOCKTON - The Stockton Community Church, 4554 W. Railroad Ave., Stockton, will host its annual strawberry social from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Music will be provided by Maurice Brown and ''The Mountain Railroad.'' Monetary donations will be accepted. This event is open to the public.
Driver Training Set For Saturday
Advance Driver Training will offer a five-hour pre-licensing defensive driving course from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Lakewood.
