To the Readers' Forum:
The Stowe Ferry shut down by senseless regulation. The county home helpful to the aging. Why are we surprised at the fact that three million folks left New York during the last 10 years.
I would bet that they were wage earners not welfare reciepents. Our legislators seemed shocked that building the Cadallic Medicaid system and the highest cash benefit in the country is sending tax payers away and drawing welfare reciepents.
They had to know.
I agree with Mr. Cheney that mindeless regulations do not benefit anyone and is why many New Yorkers are seeking their fortunes elsewhere.
