SALAMANCA - M. Brad Whitcomb, regional director for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Allegany Region, announces that the Allegany Region Commission will meet at Allegany State Park, Administration Building (Red House area) on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Brocton PTA To Hold Meeting
BROCTON - The Brocton Central School PTA will hold its end-of-the-year meeting Monday, at 7 p.m. in the elementary library. The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers and schedule events for the 2012-13 school year.
Garden Club To Host Event
FREWSBURG - The Town of Carroll Garden Club will host the gardening program "Home and Garden Insect Invasion" presented by Tom Erlandson at 6 p.m. Monday in the Myers Memorial Library community room, Frewsburg. Catt.-L.V. Board To Meet Tuesday
CATTARAUGUS - The Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School District will hold a public meeting to address the proposed Internet Safety Policy on Tuesday at 6 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled board meeting. The policy is required to comply with the Children's Internet Protection Act. Both meetings will be held in the primary building cafeteria in Cattaraugus.
Jamestown Board To Meet Tuesday
The Jamestown Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Fletcher Elementary School for a regular board meeting. The meeting will be in the gymnasium.
Ross Grange To Meet Monday
Ross Grange will meet Monday at the Falcons Nest Banquet Hall. A tureen supper will be at 6:30 p.m. The business meeting will follow. The program will be on the American Flag, in honor of Flag Day, June 14. Members are encouraged to bring items for the Falconer Food Cupboard as well as labels for schools and pop tabs for dialysis patients.
Boosters To Hold Lawn Sale
Southwestern Football Boosters will hold a family lawn sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Lakewood Firemen's Training Grounds on Summit Avenue. New and used items will be available along with furniture, sporting equipment, toys, appliances and clothing. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Southwestern Football Boosters. Drop-off donations will be accepted at the site from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 15.
