LITTLE VALLEY - Lori Petit Rieman, Cattaraugus County district attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Tuesday, May 29:

Terry Sage, 18, of Franklinville entered a plea of guilty to third-degree attempted burglary and third-degree criminal mischief to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about May 8, 2011, when the defendant acted jointly and in concert with others and knowingly attempted to enter or remain unlawfully in a building with the intent to commit a crime therein and damaged property. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 20.

Bruce E. Ferguson, 52, of Olean was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges him with second-degree assault. The matter has been adjourned for motions.

Edward A. Neal, 45, of East Otto was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges him with two counts of driving while intoxicated. The matter has been adjourned for motions.
