Saint Susan Center Teaches Volunteers

May 27, 2012
The Post-Journal

The teachers at Southwestern Central School started volunteering at St. Susan Center in Jamestown on the last Saturday of January. Teachers have continued volunteering on the last Saturday of each month, helping to fulfill the mission of Saint Susan Center: "In response to the Gospel, we freely offer food, fellowship, dignity and respect to all who come through our doors." Each month, three volunteers are scheduled to prepare food, distribute food, greet guests and clean up. Teachers will continue to volunteer through the summer months and hope to make this a yearly outreach. Pictured are Kristen Hoth and Sandy Hooven preparing a meal on April 31st.
