Library Activities Continue Today

BEMUS POINT - The Bemus Point Library will have three sessions of story and activity time for children between the ages of 2 and 5 and an adult from 11 to 11:45 a.m. on today, May 30 and June 6. Stories, songs, an activity and a snack will be provided. For more information, call the library at 386-2274.

Catt. County Board To Meet

LITTLE VALLEY - The Cattaraugus County Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Large Committee Room on the third floor of the Cattaraugus County Center, 303 Court St., Little Valley. The public is welcome to attend.

Fishing Assn. To Hold Barbecue

CELORON - The Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association, Jones and Gifford Avenue, Celoron, will hold a chicken barbecue from noon until meals are sold out Saturday. Tickets are $8. The public is welcome to attend. Tickets are available at the club.

In The Park Cruise-In Saturday

FALCONER - The Der Kobblers Automobile Association will be holding their fifth annual Festival In The Park Cruise-In from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Davis Park, West Main Street, Falconer. Registration is free with dash plaques for the first 100 cars. There will be refreshments available including a chicken barbecue.

Veterans' Park Rededication Today

FREWSBURG - The Frewsburg Memorial Park located on Parkway Drive, Frewsburg, will have a re-dedication ceremony at 6 p.m. today. Anyone attending should bring a red or white geranium to be planted in memory of or in honor of military members. Their name will be read, their service will be honored and they will be remembered. The geraniums will decorate the Memorial Park this summer. For more information, call Patty Ekstrom at 569-2843.

Herman Kent Post To March Monday

American Legion veterans from Herman Kent Post 777, the Lakewood Memorial Post 1286 and Canadian veterans from Cambridge, Ontario, will take part in the May 28 Memorial Day parade from Southwestern Central High School to Sunset Hill Cemetery, where services will be held.

Lakewood Legion Holding Barbecue

Sons of the Lakewood American Legion are having a chicken barbecue Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Aching Hands Seminar Set

Chautauqua Physical Therapy will host the next seminar in its Helping You Help Yourself series, "Oh, My Aching Hands," from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, led by Amy Livengood. The seminar will be held at the Riverwalk Center, 15 S. Main St., Suite 220. Seating is limited. Light refreshments will be served. To make reservations, call 483-2322.
