Library To Hold Activity Nights
BEMUS POINT - The Bemus Point Library will be having story and activity for children ages 2 to 5 with an adult on Wednesdays from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Songs, stories, activities and snacks will be provided. The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District board will meet at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Franklin W. Bratt Ag Center, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.
Southwestern Sets Board Meeting
The Southwestern Central School Board of Education will hold a work-session meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the elementary school library.
TEA Party Patriots To Meet Tuesday
LAKEWOOD - The Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will hold its monthly general meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lakewood American Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood. Discussion will be held regarding the July 4 parade; ALEC; taxing retirement benefits; and President Obama's use of executive orders. The public is invited to attend.
L.V. Library To Hold Book Sale
In conjunction with the annual Little Valley Memorial Day Lawn Sale Weekend, the Memorial Library of Little Valley holding a book sale in its Community Room. The event will occur on Saturday, May 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bag Sale will begin at 1 p.m. Donations of adult and children's hardback and paperback are currently being accepted at the library. The Library is open Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
