Frewsburg Board To Meet Tuesday
FREWSBURG - The Frewsburg Central School Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the middle-high school library. The public is welcome to attend. The budget, bus purchase, Robert H. Jackson Elementary School Capital Improvement Project and board member vote will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the new gym lobby.
Salamanca To Canvass Vote
SALAMANCA - The Salamanca City Central School District will hold a board of education meeting at 9 p.m. Tuesday. The special meeting/canvass meeting will take place in the large-group instruction room at the school.
City Planners To Meet Tuesday
The Jamestown Planning Commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the police training room on the fourth floor of Jamestown's City Hall. The public is welcome to attend.
Library Trustees Meeting Is Thursday
The James Prendergast Library Board of Trustees will meet at 12:15 p.m. Thursday in the Fireplace Room at the library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.
Sinclairville Board To Meet Thursday
The Sinclairville Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the village office, 8 Lester St., Sinclairville. All those interested are encouraged to attend.
Busti Fire Dept. Auxiliary To Meet
BUSTI - The Busti Fire Department Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Busti Fire Hall. All members are encouraged to attend. Plans for Memorial Day, a tractor pull in June, membership and other items will be discussed.
Municipal Band Practice Cancelled
The Jamestown Municipal Band rehearsal scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled. The next rehearsal will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the Spire Theater in preparation for the Memorial Day parade and services in the Lakeview Cemetery. JCC?College 101 Is Wednesday
Jamestown Community College will host College 101, a special event sponsored by the Chautauqua County Counselors Association and Jamestown Community College for high school juniors and their parents, on Wednesday. The program, which will be held from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. at JCC, begins with a session that encourages parents and students to work together in finding the right fit when exploring college options. Other sessions include Exploring Career Directions for parents and students, How Can We Afford College? for parents, and Survivor: College Edition for students.
