Carroll Senior Citizens will meet at for a soup and sandwich lunch at noon Monday, May 21, in the Frewsburg American Legion, Carroll Street, Frewsburg. The cost is $5 per person. Reservations are required; contact Mary Himes at 569-6110 by Thursday, May 17. The Frewsburg High School Band will present a concert.
Thirty-three members met for a ham dinner prepared by the chef at the Frewsburg Legion. Bob Lewis, vice president, opened the meeting with a flag salute and spoke on a visit to the Charleston Tea Plantation in South Carolina. Reports by the secretary and treasurer were accepted as read. Shirley Schauers, sunshine lady, stated cards were sent to members.
Celebrating birthdays were Donna Ecklof, Dolores Mitcham and Camille Nobbs.
Mary Himes spoke on the Trivia Bowl.
Dues are $7 per person and may be paid at the May meeting.
The meeting closed with prayer.
