The Reg Lenna Civic Center will screen "The Descendants" on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.
From Alexander Payne, the creator of the Oscar-winning "Sideways," "The Descendants" is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney), an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki.
Rated R, "The Descendants" runs 110 minutes.
Tickets, which are only sold at the door one hour prior to show time, are $7 for adults and $4.25 for children under 12. Movie Club booklets are available at a cost of $60 for 10 tickets, which is a 20 percent savings on adult tickets.
