Two people have been charged after searches at two Jamestown houses Thursday.
A search warrant was issued for a residence on Collins Avenue based on information about a possible crystal meth operation. The warrant was served around 9:30 a.m. with one person in the Collins Avenue home charged. Information gleaned from the investigation led police to a home at 144 Broadhead Avenue. Officers obtained a consent search for that location and another person was charged.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, Jamestown Police Department, Jamestown Fire Department and the county HAZMAT team.
