Outdoor Club To Hike On Sunday

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike near the Erlandson Overlook in Frewsburg. Participants will meet by Tops Market in Frewsburg at 1:30 p.m. After the ride the group will eat dinner at the Nic-L-Inn restaurant in Frewsburg. Coupon Collection For Troops Begins

Teddy Bears Drive Begins Monday

A drop-off location for Teddy Bears for Tots will be set up in the main office of S.G. Love Elementary School, 50 E. Eighth St., in Jamestown, beginning Monday. Teddy Bears for Tots, sponsored by Buffalo Children's Hospital, Love School and Gabriel's Event Planning was established by Love second-grader Gabriel Eddy to support children at the Buffalo hospital. Mothers Day Dinner Set

CONEWANGO VALLEY - The Conewango Fire Department, 12447 North East Road, Conewango Valley, will hold a spaghetti dinner beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, until sold out, for Mothers Day. Sittnick Family Benefit Is Sunday

SHERMAN - A benefit for the Sittnick family, whose house was destroyed by fire in March, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Sherman Fire Hall. The benefit will include more than 30 vendors, with additional vendors accepted by calling Ann Gilbert by Friday at 450-2769. Chinese auction donations are also accepted by calling Kathy Crane at 499-7340 or Vicki Rater at 761-6374 before Friday. Donations for the bake sale can be dropped off at the fire hall between 10 and 11 a.m. Sunday at the fire hall. Harbor Knights will perform during the event.

Craft Show/Expo Set For Sunday

CONEWANGO VALLEY - The Conewango Fire Department located at 12447 North East Road, Conewango Valley, will be holding a Craft Show / Vendor Expo on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Some of the vendors on hand for the day will be Thirty-One, AVON, Tastefully Simple, Hunters Hope, Bargain Bowl and Tupperware, Park Lane. Boy Scouts Collecting Clothes

Mitchell Lamper, a member of Fluvanna Boy Scout Troop 169, will collect items for the Union Gospel Mission in Jamestown as part of his Eagle Scout project. Lamper will collect gently-used men's clothing from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Monday in the basement of the Fluvanna Fire Hall. Men's toiletries will also be collected.
