Charlie's BMX Reschedules Meet
The Charlie's BMX spring open house and season-opening swap meet has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 5, beginning at 2 p.m. The open house will last until 5 p.m. with registration for the first race of the season set for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Racing will begin at 7 p.m.
Falconer Moose To Host Dinner
FALCONER - The woman of the Falconer Moose Chapter 134 will be having a " Pasta-Bilities" dinner Sunday, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge located at 11 South Dow St., Falconer. A $7 donation is asked for a platter full of pasta dishes and salad. Proceeds go to benefit the community.
Senior Report To Host Croscut
Senior Report with Reed Powers will have Fred Croscut as the guest on today's program. Croscut is a Chautauqua County legislator. The live, call-in program airs from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions or comments. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. Reed Powers, host of Senior Report, has been producing the television program since 1995. The series highlights senior citizen club news for 15 minutes with the remainder of the hour-long program devoted to the featured guest. The guest is subject to change. Senior Report is shown live on Saturday mornings on Time Warner Cable systems covering the following communities: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua, Fredonia, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, Stockton and Westfield on Channel 5. In Dunkirk, Forestville, Hanover, Irving and Silver Creek the program is on channel 19. The show originates at the Access Channel 5 studio in Mayville.
Big Band To
Perform Monday
Chautauqua Big Band Swing will perform a free concert open to the public on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Cassadaga Valley High School Auditorium. The band is comprised of area band directors and freelance musicians who enjoy presenting swing music at local festivals, parks and weddings. Band leader, John Cross, is pleased to have Adam Roehler featured as the vocal soloist with his 18-piece Big Band. Roehler will be singing Sinatra's Come Fly With Me, Anka's My Way, A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, Candy and America, The Beautiful. The band will highlight songs of Cole Porter including: Let's Do It and I've Got You Under My Skin, as well as other classic swing favorites like I'm Beginning To See The Light and Alright, Okay, You Win. Featured instrumental soloists include Jason Fox, trumpet; David Golando, tenor sax; Mike Willis, trombone and Rick Lundquist, trumpet.

SHERMAN - The Sherman Central School District Board of Education will be holding a special meeting Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Room 118 at the school, 127 Park St., Sherman.
New Court Hours In North Harmony
NORTH HARMONY - The town of North Harmony has new Thursday evening hours, beginning May 1. Town court will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. The town clerk will also be available from 5 to 7 p.m. and the zoning CEO will be available from 6 to 8 p.m.
