Rickey and Susan Culver of Frewsburg, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah E., to Luke E. Roode, the son of Mark and Karen Roode of Low Moor, Iowa.
Miss Culver is a 2005 graduate of Frewsburg Central School and a 2009 graduate of Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa. She is attending North Carolina State University pursing a DVM and Ph.D. in biomedical science. Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Central High School in DeWitt, Iowa, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical science at the University of North Carolina.
A May 2013 wedding is planned.
