Rummage Sale Set For May 3

Christ First United Methodist Church, corner of Lakeview and Buffalo streets, will hold a rummage sale from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 3; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 4; and a $1 bag sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 5.

S. Dayton UMC To Host Sale

SOUTH DAYTON - The South Dayton United Methodist Church, 328 Pine St., South Dayton, will hold a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 4, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5. A bag sale will begin at noon Saturday. Also featured will be a bake sale on both days.

Frewsburg Lions To Host Dinner

The Frewsburg Lions Club will be holding its annual spaghetti dinner at the Frewsburg Fire Hall No. 2 - the Blue Building - Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $8 adults, $3 for children and $20 for family (children under 5 eat free). This includes salad, spaghetti, meatballs, bread, drinks and homemade desserts.

County Planning Board To Meet

MAYVILLE - The Chautauqua County Planning Board will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, at the Gerace Office Building, Room 331, 7 N. Erie St., Mayville. For more information, call the Chautauqua County Planning Department at 661-8910.

FREWSBURG - The Trinity United Methodist Church, corner of Ivory and Wigren roads, Frewsburg, will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 3, and a bag sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 4.

Historical Society To Meet Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE - The regular meeting of the Valley Historical Society will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Museum at Main and Lester streets, Sinclairville. Walter Waite, past president of the society and an expert on the history of the Stockton/Centralia area, will present the program.

Nurses Program Set For May 9

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society invites community practice nurses to An Update on Myelofibrosis, Polycythemia Vera & Essential Thrombocythemia (MPNs): An Update on Diagnosis and Treatment on Wednesday, May 9, at The White Inn, 52 E. Main St., Fredonia at 5:30 p.m. The program will be presented by Carlos Vigil, MD, of Roswell Park Cancer Institute. This free program will include a complimentary dinner. Pre-registration is required on or before May 4. This free educational program provides two contact hours of continuing education credit for registered nurses. Annual Cemetery Set To Meet
