JCC To Host Tree-Planting Today
Jamestown Community College will hold a special tree-planting ceremony at noon today to commemorate Arbor Day. The public is invited to attend the event, which will be held at the northern end of the Katharine Jackson Carnahan Center. A willow has been selected for the site. A ginkgo, Japanese umbrella pine, purple leaf catalpa, tupelo, multi-stem river birch, and flowering crabapple will be planted elsewhere on campus later in the week.
Randolph School Board To Meet
RANDOLPH - The Randolph Central School Board of Education will meet at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday in the superintendent's office to vote on the BOCES budget and BOCES board member candidates. The public is welcome to attend.
Grange?Dinner, Meeting Is Tonight
FALCONER - The Ross Grange will have members of the Falconer Central School board as guests at today's meeting. A dish to pass supper will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Falcon's Nest Banquet Hall, followed by the presentation of the board members. They will share the 2012-13 budget and other items of interest. Anyone interested in attending is invited. Those attending are asked to bring items for the Falconer Food Cupboard.
Cemetery Group To Meet May 3

Project Prom Dress Is Saturday
CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Valley Key Club will sponsor the second annual Project Prom Dress from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Cassadaga Valley Middle/High School. Any girl who wishes to get a free prom dress is encouraged to come to the event. There will be more than 300 dresses to choose from. JCC?To Begin Non-Credit Class Friday
Navigating Change Management, a non-credit course providing techniques and tools for effectively guiding employees, will be conducted at Jamestown Community College from 9 a.m. to noon Friday. Tuition is $73. To register, call JCC's Center for Continuing Education at 338-1005. Instructor Tish Osearo will help participants examine how to manage resistance to change while creating a willingness to take action. Tools for connecting employees to a company's mission, values, and needs will be explored.
JHS?Class Of 1977 To Meet Tuesday
The Jamestown High School Class of 1977 will hold its 35th reunion July 27 and 28. A golf outing will be held Friday, July 27, at South Hills Country Club followed by an informal mixer at Roberto's at 7:30 p.m. The July 28 dinner-dance will be held at the Frewsburg Legion.
